A Burlington homeowner saw on his surveillance camera that Harold Ryan, a man whom he knew, had entered his residence without permission. The homeowner called police who arrived. Ryan locked himself into the garage and apparently, SWAT negotiators bore down on him. He committed suicide under police duress inside of the garage.
