OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
A woman called Pocatello PD reporting that an intoxicated man had knocked on her door and taken her cell phone. Police arrived and allegedly planned to issue a ticket. While one officer went to his patrol car to print it, the second officer claims that Planer picked up a knife from the kitchen and raised it, and the officer shot and killed him. No BWC footage has been released.No officers were charged.
