Eli Nash, 32, from Boise was sought by Boise PD and Fugitive Recovery Agents from the Idaho Department of Correction (IDOC) joined BPD officers in searching for Nashfor the parole violation of not maintaining contact with his parole officer and was located but he "produced a weapon." It is unclear what the weapon was. BPD officer Kip Papolero reportedlyfired a shot that killed the man. No officers were charged.
