Around 12:16 a.m. on 04/05/2023, police attempted to make a traffic stop. The driver, however, refused to stop and fled until he crashed into another vehicle, killing 39-year-old third party motorist Noe Barron Garcia who had just gotten off third shift and was driving home. Police allege they did not chase the driver but were nearby. Garcia was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.
