Houston PD were chasing a carjacker. Several hours after the carjacking, police saw the vehicle on MLK and took up chase. Police claim they “stopped” the pursuit just before the crash. Surveillance video just moments before the crash showed police to still be pursuing. The vehicle was still fleeing from police and hit 3 cars, killing belioved church eldress Dr. Gloria G. Collins. The deceased woman was the mother of a Houston PD officer.
