Asheville PD saw a Dodge Challenger in Asheville and remembered that a Dodge Challenger had earlier been reported in a fight/assault in another part of town. Believing it may be the same vehicle, Asheville PD escalated a chase. The vehicle fled and police claim they briefly lost sight of it until they found it at the bottom of an embankment after rolling over during the chase. Driver DariannChantell Waters and passenger Maurice Dijon Jones were killed.
