Georgia State Patrol initiated a chase in Lamar County off Barnesville Road and Ga. 136 after a trooper tried to pull over Bryan Pierre Williams and his passengerVincent Hugheson Barnesville Road.Williams sped away in a Chevy Tahoe and the trooper, not accepting a failed traffic stop, escalated a chase, performed a PIT maneuver resulting in Williams hitting the trooper’s car. Troopers claim the driver and passenger were throwing drugs out of the window. Deputiesperformed another PIT maneuver, directly killing Hughes when the PIT resulted in the vehicle rolling several times and killing passenger Vincent Hughes.
