Arkansas State Troopers and the North Little Rock Police Department on January 12th around 8:22pmtried to make a traffic stop on an allegedly stolen Kia in the area of 2700 McArthur Drive. Arkansas State Police Troopers arrived to help North Little Rock PD and ASP took control of the chase around the 146 mile marker. The car attempted to take the exit at high speed, lost control, crashed into a tree and caught on fire. The unidentified driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead on scene.No officers were charged.
