Matthew Roy Chelgren was driving an SUV when a Pennsylvania State Trooper escalated a chase for unknown reasons, attacked him with a PIT maneuver which forced him to crash into a tree and die from what his family states was a slow painful death. Chelgren had been a popular tattoo artist and is described as having been a kind soul. Police did not comment why they created this deadly chase. Chelgren’s family filed suit which states that the reason for the chase was a minor traffic violation.
