Milwaukee PD saw a car they believed to be stolen andinvolved in a previous armed robbery near 11th and Atkinson. Milwaukee PD escalated a chase upon seeing this possibly same vehicle but claim they had to stop chasing due to their own equipment malfunction. Another squad car took over the chase and chased until the driver ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle. The unnamed 17-year-old driver was killed, his passenger injured and the driver of the car he had run into was also injured.
