Candace Gill, 38, and Edward Williams allegedly stole baby care items and were seen leaving with their baby from a Walmart store. Police were notified and escalated a chase, knowing that an infant was in the car. The vehicle predictably crashed at high speeds into another van. Candace Gill fled in a panic and was arrested and charged with both deaths later. Her companion Edward Williams died. Her injured baby girl also died. Two people lost their lives over a chase due to retail shoplifting.
