Barbara Ferris, 87, was in her home at 1:30 a.m. when police chased a fleeing DUI driver into her home. The vehicle crashed into the house massively, erupted in flames that quickly engulfed the house. Homeowner Barbara Ferris died in the flames while her husband was taken to the hospital in unknown condition. The DUI driver survived in unknown condition.
