A mother and son leaving a Dollar Tree parking lot died when a police chase crashed into them. Two hours after the crash, the officer driving had been taken to the hospital, and a man was found in the backseat of the police vehicle. Police do not know who he is and how he had gotten into the police car. Police did not answer any questions. The police vehicle was reported to be speeding excessively without lights or sirens.
