Charlotte-Mecklenburg PD were chasing a car for not stopping for a traffic stop. Police escalated the chase until the vehicle crashed into a 2012 Ford Econoline van head-on, killing both drivers. A third vehicle was also involved in the crash. Police have not commented why this highly dangerous multi-fatality high-speed chase was undertaken.
