Michael L. Rogel was shot and killed by Bozeman PD after pointing a firearm and engaging in a shooting with Bozeman Police officers on Monday, April 3, 2023.He himself hadapparently had a mental health crisis and called 911 and allegedly claimed people were coming to his house to kill him. He left the residence in his vehicle. Officers located the vehicle with him inside. He allegedly had a gun and pointed it at officers. Five officers all fired their guns, striking Rogel and killing him.
