Burien PD responded to a domestic shooting but the event was over and the responsible parties had fled the scene. Police allege they located a man who they believed to be involved. Police shot and killed him. His mother posted this on a GFM: “Hi, my name is Irma Ellis. I'm the mother of Derrick Ameer Ellis Cook. On Sept 10th, 2022, at 5:30 am, four Des Moines Police Officers executed my son. Derrick was walking down Des Moines Dr. S and S 120th St when three Police Cars pulled up; while he was walking down the street, they hopped out of their cars, pulled their guns, and fired multiple shots into my son without any warning or communication. Derrick was pronounced dead on the scene.”
