Brianna Grier was having a mental health crisis and police arrived, handcuffed her and threw her in the back of a patrol car. Police forgot to close the door and when they drove off, she fell out of the back of the police car in handcuffs and landed on her head, sustaining several skull fractures. She died 4 days later.
