Joplin PD were sent to a domestic disturbance with possible hostage being the wife and daughter. Police and SWAT arrived and the mother, Taylor Schutte, ran out toward police. The husband, Eli Crawford, shot and killed her. Several law enforcement agencies and SWAT engaged in a heavy gun fight with him. A police sniper killed 2-year-old Clesslyn and her father both.
