Rye Shashok allegedly invaded the home of an acquaintance on Oakland Street when they learned that he had held an occupant of the residence against their will. When the homeowner returned home and saw what was happening, Shashok chased her and she was able to hide in a neighbor’s home. Police arrived and shot and killed him.
