On 07/29/2021, George Tratras called 911 and reported that he had killed his parents. Initially cooperating with police, Tratras later fled during an exchange of gunfire. Officers from the Mt. Lebanon Police Department located him near US-19 and McLaughlin Run Road in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, where he was found deceased from a single, self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
