About 2:30 p.m., police responded to a disturbance call. Officers were unable to locate the disturbance but began looking around the area. In the Wendy's parking lot, officers saw a woman holding a rifle at her side and heard several gunshots. Strong, still holding the rifle, began to run east, and an officer shot and killed her. When officers got to the parking lot, they found Michael Anthony Cooper, 24, with gunshot wounds lying between two vehicles.
