OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :

Deputies responded to a 911 call from Daphine Mae Jennings, who reported suicidal intentions and threatened to harm anyone entering her home. Deputies and EMS arrived and negotiated for over 30 minutes. Around 10:00 p.m., Jennings exited her home armed with a gun and pointed it at deputies. Deputies opened fire, striking her. She collapsed and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is reviewing the incident.
