Hollywood Police conducted a surveillance operation targeting Donald Taylor in Miramar. Officers located Taylor near Southwest 61st Avenue and Southwest 19th Street around 4 p.m. Police alleged Taylor was armed and refused to comply with commands. Officers shot and killed him. Bodycam videos proved the claim that he had been armed as false and showed that he was seen walking away with his hands raised when shot from behind and killed.
