Ricky Cobb II was pulled over by a Minnesota State trooper for having defective brake lights. Per official police narrative, he was pulled over and warrants for his arrest were found. Troopers allege that he reversed the car and reached for something, causing trooper Londegran to shoot and kill him. It was later discovered that he had no warrants which also means that troopers had no reason to try to physically tear him out of his car as they tried, leading to a confrontation that caused his death.
