Killed by police during domestic violence call on September 4, 2025, around 5:00 p.m., Cambridge police responded to reports of a man chasing a woman with a knife in the Deep Harbor area near Seaway Lane and Riverview Wharf. Officers ordered the man to drop the weapon, but he advanced toward them. Two taser deployments failed to stop him. Officers then opened fire, striking him multiple times. He was transported to a hospital where he later died. The Maryland Attorney General’s Office Independent Investigations Division is investigating.
