On 08/11/2021, law enforcement officers conducting surveillance on a man wanted in multiple Colorado counties observed Bruce Allen Thurby at a car dealership near North Pecos Street in the Denver area. According to reporting, officers believed Thurby was attempting to steal a vehicle. Officers confronted him, and he moved behind the dealership. Police pursued and confronted him again.
