On 11/06/2021, Will County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at 300 Middletree Road involving a family member reported to be in crisis and holding a knife. Deputies confronted Jabbar Muhammad during the encounter and observed him stab Eldred Wells Sr. Deputies fired their weapons, striking both men. Wells died from his injuries and Muhammad also died at the scene.
