Deputies focused on a vehicle believed to have been involved in an overdose, Plainclothes narcotics officers located the vehicle and called in Knox County Sheriff’s Office, KCSO Airwatch, Loudon County deputies, Anderson County deputies and Oak Ridge PD to hunt the person together. The chase continued until Highway 321 and Parkway Drive when the driver crashed. Police besieged the vehicle and said that the man had a weapon and committed suicide under police duress.
