Magna PD were called to a residence where a man had been seen with a long gun. Police looked into windows and allege they saw the man fire a shot and the woman fall down. Convinced the man had shot her, police fired until the man was dead. The woman had not been shot and officers had acted hastily. The woman had been his daughter and the nature of the incident was unknown but she was confirmed not to have been hurt. Joseph Dean Black died.
