Police were conducting a DUI investigation in the 100 block of West Fourth Street around 6 a.m. Sunday. They saw an unrelated man run toward officers with a metal pole. Police allege that he then continued to advance toward officers. He was tasered, shot and killed by officer Shayn Schwartz. He had allegedly called police “pigs” before being shot.
