On Tuesday morning, March 7, 2023, Ka‘ū patrol officers received a call about a 42-year-old woman who had been shot during a domestic dispute in the 92-2000 block of Outrigger Drive in Ocean View. Detectives spotted Ronald Patrick Keahonui Kahihikolo on Kamakaeha Avenue and Palani Road. The man was uncooperative and police shot and killed him. No BWC exists as these were plainclothes officers who do not wear bodycams.
