Around 7 p.m. on 03/13/2023, Jeffersonville Police received a report that a man was walking around an apartment complex with a handgun. Police allege the man fired a shot in the air "in front of the officers," then pointed the gun at the officers. Three Jeffersonville PD officers shot and killed him. His mother later stated that he had bad PTSD and was an Afghanistan war veteran.
