A Baldwin County deputy arrivedat a home on Highway 90 in Robertsdale on 03/02/2023 for a vandalism call by a neighbor “intentionally damaging personal property.”
James Richard Pavlista went back into his home once deputies addressed him. Several hours later, deputies saw him leave his home and walk around the property. When deputies tried to arrest him, hereportedly charged at them with a knife. The deputy used a taser and finally shot and killed Pavlista.
