During the chase, the vehicle’s right tires came off and the driver lost control. The car crossed into the northbound lane, crashed into a tree, rolled upside down and caught on fire with the 3 young men trapped inside. The lethal chase was undertaken because the vehicle had been seen driving too fast. No officers were charged.
