Bay County deputies arrived at a residential address to arrest a man with open warrants for aggravated assault. The man resisted and BCSO called SWAT and orchestrated a militarized response to an arrest refusal. Brown hid in his home and when SWAT made forcible entry, they allegedly found him hiding in a hole in the ground. Police claim that he had a gun and SWAT shot and killed him in his home.
