It is unclear how police knew the driver was unlicensed unless they had been targeting and following him and this detail needs clarification from police. The vehicle slowed down, dropped off a passenger and kept driving. Georgia State troopers hunted the vehicle at high speed until it crashed into a Honda Civic at high speed, instantly killing a woman who had been driving down through Memorial Drive and Hairston Road when hit by the massive police chase crash.
