Officer Phillip C. Wagner was shot multiple times while sitting in his patrol car during an ambush. He later died at MetroHealth Medical Center. Two other officers were also shot. A civilian gunman opened fire with a high-powered rifle and was killed at the scene. Multiple agencies are investigating.
