OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Deputies responded to a shooting around 3:00 p.m. on Cole Thomas Road just outside McComb. Investigators determined that Clay Paulk forced entry into a home, shot McComb Police Sgt. Jason Blake and wounded Nicki Wilson, then fatally shot himself. Wilson survived. Deputies found Paulk’s vehicle abandoned nearby. Sgt. Blake had worked in law enforcement for about 16 years, including 5 years with the McComb Police Department. The Pike County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation.
