OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 10/28/2025, Officer David Cajuso of the Miami Beach Police Department lost control of his police motorcycle while traveling northbound on I-75 near the Gratigny Parkway in Hialeah Gardens and descended a steep embankment. He was air-lifted to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition and later died of his injuries. The crash is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
