On 06/28/2026, Mundelein Police Department Officer Paul Viduya Jr. was killed in an off-duty single-vehicle motorcycle crash in McHenry, Illinois. According to investigators, Viduya was riding a green 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 650 westbound on Charles J. Miller Parkway when the motorcycle crashed near McHenry Avenue. He was the only person involved and was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy determined he died from blunt force injuries. The McHenry Police Department is investigating the crash.
