OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Detention Officer Kenneth Fowler was on duty on Jan. 21, 2023 when he slipped on ice in the parking lot of the Pontotoc County Justice Center during an ice storm. He was transported to a hospital but did not recover and remained in a medically induced coma until dying from head injuries on February 19th, 2023.
