Broward County Sheriff’s deputies stated that they were conducting an undercover narcotics sting when the Zy’Shonne Johnson fled after recognizing an officer. Police escalated a chase that ended when he ran into several vehicles, fled on foot and was shot and killed by police who allege that he had a gun. At least one witness indicates victim had his hands above his head, complying with officers' instructions when he was shot.
