Hillsborough County deputy Abigail Bieber was staying at a St. Augustine AirBnB when she was shot and killed by her domestic partner, Hillsborough County DetectiveDaniel Leyden who killed himself after killing her. Both had been officers at the samesheriff’s office in Florida. After the murder, a former girlfriend of Detective Leyden took to public media and disclosed that she had been a domestic violence victim at the hands of the same officer who had killed Bieber.
