The stolen truck had collided head-on with a van containing two occupants, resulting in both vehicles catching fire. Officers attempted to extinguish the flames and rescue occupants. One occupant was removed from the crash and later died, and the second occupant also died. The driver of the stolen truck, who had a felony warrant from Georgia and a stolen firearm in the vehicle, also died in the crash. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is conducting the crash reconstruction investigation.
