On 02/02/2026, deputies from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Stargaze Lane in the Beacon Lake neighborhood after reports that Robert Spencer, 35, had barricaded himself inside the home during a standoff with law enforcement. Deputies and SWAT personnel made numerous attempts to contact Spencer, who remained inside and did not exit the residence.
