On 01/05/2026, Pennsylvania State Police responded to a residence in Snyder Township, Blair County, for a reported domestic incident. Troopers established a perimeter and began negotiations with a man inside the home. The standoff continued for several hours. After communication ceased, troopers entered the residence and located the man deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities have not released the individual’s name or age. Pennsylvania State Police are conducting the investigation.
