On 01/20/2026, Ontario Police Department officers attempted to stop a vehicle near North Vineyard Avenue and East Rosewood Court in Ontario, California. The driver did not stop and officers escalated a chase that continued onto the westbound I-10 Freeway. The chase ended when the driver exited at the Euclid Avenue off-ramp, lost control, and crashed off the freeway. The driver died at the scene.
