On 01/26/2026, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a double shooting at the Pine Ridge North 1 condominium complex in Greenacres after two women were shot inside a residence. The shooter, a man known to the victims, retreated into his home before deputies arrived and refused to come out. After a prolonged standoff, deputies obtained and executed a search warrant. The man was found dead inside the residence from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
