OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :

On 02/12/2026, a Kingman Police Department officer observed a motorcycle traveling northbound on Stockton Hill Road at an extremely high rate of speed and attempted a traffic stop with emergency lights activated. The motorcyclist did not yield and continued driving at speed. Officers discontinued further enforcement per department policy and later responded to a fatal collision in the 3800 block of Stockton Hill Road involving that same motorcycle and a dark-colored SUV. The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old man from Kingman, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Arizona Department of Public Safety assumed responsibility for the crash investigation.
