On 03/01/2026, Virginia State Police responded to a crash on Interstate 495 near Braddock Road in Fairfax County. Police reported that Jared Llamado exited his vehicle after a road rage incident and stabbed four people and a dog. Michelle Adams, 39, died from stab wounds. Dana Bonnell, 36, Mary C. Flood, 37, and Heather Miller, 40, were hospitalized with injuries. A dog was also stabbed to death. Troopers located Llamado on the interstate and fired their weapons, striking him. He died from gunshot wounds. Investigators reported that one firearm was involved. Jared Llamado had been a foreign service officer.
